Programs of International School of Medicine

  • Basic Medical education (5 years)

Basic Medical Education

General Medicine – 5 years of studies for school graduates with 12 years of educational experience (mostly for British Commonwealth citizens). This program is implemented with English as the language of instruction. The program in Kyrgyzstan is conducted using integrated and module-based teaching technology introduced in Kyrgyzstan with the technical support of the World Health Organization.

Post Graduate Studies (Residency Program, 3 years)

Are conducted in a broad range of specialties including gynecology, surgery, traumatology, orthopedics, pediatrics, therapy, and others. The program includes practical and non-clinical training programs for the degrees of physician-laboratory assistant and clinical residents.

Scientific Research Programs

Are offered in various fields, including preparation of dissertations leading to scientific degrees of Candidate of Medical Sciences (equivalent to a Master’s or Ph.D. studies). “Doctor of Medical Sciences” awards are conducted at DOCTORAL/Ph.D. LEVEL
